Polydactyly In Sequential Art

Image
Polydactylic characters in sequential art/graphic narratives/comics—whatever you want to call them—seem quite rare. Possibly even more rare than in real life. Here is one I found in the January 1990 issue of Heavy Metal magazine, a tale written and illustrated by one Juan Giménez. It’s called “The Fourth Quarter”, and it’s about a conflict between the people of Earth and a humanoid race called the Krommiun. The latter look identical to Earth humans, except for having six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. Though the extra finger is sometimes depicted as noticeably smaller than the others, and seems almost vestigial. But this is not consistent.

Tales Of Shaundra

Image
Tales Of Shaundra, Book One is an erotic tale by an artist/writer named Philo, published in 1995 by Rip Off Press. I thought at first there never any later books. But it looks like I was wrong: there were later stories about “Demi & Shaundra” and “Shaundra: Slave to Pleasure” that continued her (hard-core) adventures. Shaundra is a pretty feisty and indomitable warrior lady, with a sidekick/lover named Max. She takes crap from no-one. That includes a wizard she bumps into one day, who takes exception to her attitude and inflicts her with a curse. That curse is to have a man-size penis growing out of her lady parts. The rest of the book is about her quest to find the wizard and persuade him to reverse the spell. Along the way, she meets up with women (and men) who are quite bemused by her unusual endowments, and manage to exercise them in various quite explicit ways. Plus of course she learns to appreciate being able to pee standing up... But she does finally get to the end of he...

An Old Krukenberg Girl

Image
These pictures came originally from a site called the “Amputee-Devotee Picturepage”. This was originally hosted at the now-defunct Geocities, but wouldn’t you know it, it has been preserved here , and pictures of the girl in question can be retrieved here . The Krukenberg procedure is an alternative to prostheses to compensate for loss of the hands. Unlike prostheses, since it involves refashioning existing body tissues, it makes maximum use of the patient’s remaining sense of touch. It’s not commonly seen nowadays, because it seems to be considered “ugly”. Do you think it is ugly?

Sexephant Trotch

Image
This is one of my early animations, first posted on Hentai Foundry in Flash format many years ago. I’m not sure what to call this. I came up with the term “sexephant”, which is a cross between “sex” and “elephant”, to describe someone with such an appendage. The appendage itself I call a “trotch”, which might be considered an abbreviation of “trunk at crotch”. It could also be called a “gynosome”, that being the official scientific term for a similar organ that was discovered in a species of insect. Oh, and that is very much female genitalia on the tip of that thing.

The Debut Of Polydactyl66

Image
Here are a couple of clips   saved from when this six-fingered gamer girl first appeared on Twitch, back in early 2019. Apparently she did a long Q&A session, but unfortunately no copy of this remains anywhere that I know of. I found her hands completely mesmerizing, and I think these clips particularly illustrate that.

Seven-Cup Trick

How many people do you know who can do this?  I don’t know her name, or whether her Douyin/Tiktok account still exists.

Dialogue 101

“Don’t use the same word twice,” he proclaimed. “Add variety with synonyms,“ he declaimed. “Enlarge your vocabulary to add interest,” he enunciated. She shook her head sorrowfully. “You‘re doing it all wrong,” she said. “How so?” he interrogated. “The trouble with trying to substitute less-common synonyms for ‘said’ is it just makes your writing look stilted and self-conscious,” she replied. “So what should I do?” he riposted. “Add description instead.” She paused, and frowned. “Try to convey something of the emotion or the state of mind of the speaker. That ’s the way to add interest to your dialogue.” He pondered for a moment. “Like this?” He looked at her expectantly. She nodded enthusiastically. “You’re getting the idea. You just need to practise it more.” His mouth fell open as he rose to his feet. “I didn’t realize how dramatically effective this could be!” “OK, now you’re overdoing it.” She waved him back into his chair. “Once you get the flow going, it can also be effective t...
