Here are a couple of clips saved from when this six-fingered gamer girl first appeared on Twitch, back in early 2019. Apparently she did a long Q&A session, but unfortunately no copy of this remains anywhere that I know of. I found her hands completely mesmerizing, and I think these clips particularly illustrate that.
These were a pair of ads done for a foot-care product. The concept was that, if you had feet in place of your hands, you’d take better care of them. And both ads feature a female character who has exactly that. The scenes with foot-hands make up the first 8 seconds of each ad. I have extracted them and post them (without soundtrack) here. If you want to watch the whole thing, they are available on Vimeo here and here .
Polydactylic characters in sequential art/graphic narratives/comics—whatever you want to call them—seem quite rare. Possibly even more rare than in real life. Here is one I found in the January 1990 issue of Heavy Metal magazine, a tale written and illustrated by one Juan Giménez. It’s called “The Fourth Quarter”, and it’s about a conflict between the people of Earth and a humanoid race called the Krommiun. The latter look identical to Earth humans, except for having six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. Though the extra finger is sometimes depicted as noticeably smaller than the others, and seems almost vestigial. But this is not consistent.
